Faith-integrated counselling provides for the integration of a person’s faith and spirituality into the counselling and therapeutic process to help them overcome challenges and reach their full potential. Through being grounded in a Biblical worldview, exploring theological perspectives, and seeking wisdom from scripture, your therapist will walk with you to discover spiritual meaning and find strength and comfort in your faith during difficult times. Your therapist can also help you find ways to connect with your faith community to support your emotional well- being.

Dealing with anger is incredibly emotional and taxing, especially when it begins to affect your relationships, work, or overall well-being. At Oasis of Hope, our anger management Thornhill therapy is aimed at helping you understand and control your anger in a healthy way.
Through guided sessions with experienced therapists, you’ll explore the triggers and underlying causes of your anger, learning strategies to respond calmly and constructively. Frequently Asked Questions
-
Cost of Practicing – This is the “behind the scenes,” not particularly clinically relevant stuff. It includes things like professional licensing and registration fees, membership fees, insurance costs, virtual platform costs, etc. Approximately 30% of a client’s payment goes towards these aspects of operating a practice.
Growing and Expanding the Practice – We want to make therapy accessible to anyone who needs it. This means increasing the scope of our practice (geographically, range of service, expanding our staff and support team, etc.) and engaging in promotion and advertising. Think: pay it forward! Approximately 18% of a client’s payment goes towards current and future growth.
Continuing Education – By broadening and deepening my skill set, continuing education helps me become a better therapist and provide the best possible care that I can to my clients. The College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario requires us to complete a certain amount of continuing education each year. Approximately 20% of a client’s payment goes towards continuing education.
Making a Living – This is the personal part that allows me to buy groceries, visit my barber, partake in self-care, and take my dog to the vet. Approximately 32% of a client’s payment goes towards keeping me and my loved ones housed, fed, and happy.
